Extensive Range of Ion Exchange Resins (IEX) from Biotoolomics
Ion-exchange (IEX) chromatography media or resins are employed to separate molecules, such as large proteins, small nucleotides and amino acids, based on their charge. The functional groups in IEX resins have charges that bind molecules with opposite charges. Release of the bound molecules from the resin is achieved by displacement, via the application of an increasing concentration of a similarly charged molecules.
The design of the bead size, pore size, functional groups and the mechanical strength of individual base matrices of our IEX resins can be used to capture bulk products or impurities from large-volumes; as an intermediate purification step; or as a final step for high resolution purifications.
We offer an extensive range of ion exchange chromatography media (resins) to fit any research or production need. Depending on the nature of your application, the profile of your feedstock and the resolution you need, Biotoolomics has the right IEX product for you.
